The forestry helmet Climax 10 FORESTAL was designed to provide effective protection during forestry processes, as well as from incandescent particles released during such processes. No switches or batteries are required. The helmet is also equipped with fastener system that can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit for the wearer. The shield consists of the following components: VisorThe visor consists of metal mesh screen edged in polypropy lene, with the width tapering at the bottom of the visor. Three holes at the top are used to house the screws which attach the visor to the browguard. Browguard (front adjuster)The semi-circular browguard is manufactured of black polyamide and includes a narrow brim. The sides contain a  at section with two holes used to attach the headgear by means of nuts and bolts. HeadgearThe headgear is composed of a harness and adjustment mechanism, manufactured of black injection-moulded polyamide. The harness comprises two parts, an upper cross strap and a contour strap. The length of the cross strap can be adjusted to  ve different positions. The contour strap has a middle section (which rests on the wearer’s forehead) and side arms that join at the rear of the head by means of the adjustment system. This system allows easy adjustment of the contour band circumference, by a simple turn of the wing nut. Ear protectorThe headband is constructed of black dye-injected polyamide and has a variable width between 20 and 30mm. The entire length of the headband contains a protruding reinforcement rib of width 5 mm.The ends are equipped with two elongated guides to slide the twin ear cup fasteners and adjust the height. The two ear cups are manufactured of black ABS and contain twin black PVC inserts in the middle, used for attachment to the headband while allowing headband mobility. Size: 200 mm x 320 mm.Weight: 0,400 kg.
